Serv Wahan MD, DMD
I grew up in Seattle, Washington. In the fourth grade, my mom told me that I should become a dentist and I said, “sure”. So, after high school, I went to Tufts in Boston for dental school. It was…ok. I mean I could do it just fine, but it wasn’t amazing. At the end of my second year, I did my rotation in oral maxillofacial surgery and loved it. After that I decided to go on after dental school to become an oral surgeon. I did my 6-year oral maxillofacial surgery residency in Pittsburgh as well as medical school. When I finished, I moved back to Seattle and began practicing. After the pandemic started, I decided to show some of my work on social media. I found it to be a fun place to quickly learn as well as to teach. After a few years, I branched out into the video podcast realm, choosing topics and conversations that I find interesting. I continue to volunteer as affiliate faculty at the University of Washington Dental School, maintain a private practice work model, as well as cover trauma call at the local hospital.
